Ritu Kumar Wedding Inspired by the timeless artistry of Bengal’s Jamdani, this sari brings together an intricate interplay of heritage motifs set against a finely woven Jamdani grid. Ari-tikki embroidery, executed using a specialised technique that recreates the beauty of traditional weaving, adds depth and texture to the drape. The look is paired with a structured corset belt, richly embellished with zardosi and meenakari-inspired coloured stonework, while a sheer silk shirt finished with delicate ari embroidery lends a contemporary edge to the ensemble. A testament to exceptional craftsmanship, the complete look took over 850 hours to create.
